I hope you take this opportunity to learn as much as possible about our Department, its people, and our operation. We certainly take great pride in our profession and the way we go about our duties.

From an operational perspective, we are available 24 hours per day; 365 days a year with a team of dedicated and highly trained professionals who are ready to respond to your call for help. The North Strabane Township Fire Department provides all-hazard services which include: Fire Suppression, Rescue and Emergency Medical Services (EMS), as well as Three (3) specialized response teams: Swift Water-Dive Rescue Team, Fire/Arson Investigations Team and Field Force Extraction Team. In addition to these core services, the Department also provides comprehensive fire prevention, public education, and emergency preparedness services to the community.

I encourage you to utilize or participate in the various programs offered by our Department including the Civic ready township notification system, CPR and AED training, children’s car seat inspection and installation, block parties, station tours and fire extinguisher training. All of these programs offer the opportunity for residents and businesses to connect with our Fire Department.

Our mission is to provide the highest standard of service to all who may seek our help. We are a service provider, and we stand ready to provide fire suppression, fire prevention and education, rescue services, and emergency services.

Our vision is to be a progressive organization unified in creating a safe and secure community.
